Sales and Use Tax Policy
We collect and remit sales tax in states where we are legally required to do so, based on applicable state laws and our economic nexus thresholds.
Under U.S. Supreme Court precedent (South Dakota v. Wayfair, Inc.), states may require online sellers to collect sales tax if they have a substantial economic presence, even without a physical location in the state. We monitor our sales activities and collect sales tax in jurisdictions where our operations meet these thresholds.
As a result, you may or may not see sales tax applied to your order depending on the shipping address and our tax obligations in that state. If your order is shipped to a state where we do not currently have an economic nexus or other tax collection obligation, sales tax may not be charged.
However, you may still be responsible for use tax on your purchase, depending on your state's laws. We encourage customers to consult their state’s Department of Revenue for more information regarding use tax obligations.
